What makes the Yamaha DTX-402K worth considering? First, the kit has special KU-100 Silent Kick Pedals, which make much less noise than other hi-hat pedals. Also the 10 coaching programs are a nice bonus, so you can work extra hard on your timing.
The coaching programs, but also the recording function, make the kit very suitable for learn to play drums.
Like the Roland TD-02KV, this kit has rubber pads. The pads are slightly smaller, namely 7.5″. The snare drum is also a rubber pad.
The DTX-402K module surprisingly doesn't have a display - so you'll have to make do with the lights on the module. This kit also offers no Bluetooth function. This makes the module somewhat more limited.
