Fazley DDK-040
The Fazley DDK-040 is an electronic drum kit from Fazley, the house brand of Bax Music. It is an affordable electronic drum kit that is suitable for beginning drummers and children.
Two big advantages of the DDK-040 are the mesh heads and the real kick pedal (instead of a trigger like with the Fazley DDK-020). Mesh heads are special mesh heads that absorb the blow of the drum stick in a realistic way, making playing not only feel more real but also producing less noise for the environment.
The kit takes up little space so can easily be placed anywhere. Perfect to start your drumming career!
Fazley DDK-080
The Fazley DDK-080 is similar to the Fazley DDK-040 mentioned above, but has some additional advantages.
The pads of the DDK-080 are larger, which makes playing feel more realistic. In addition, the module contains more sounds and you have your own options to put together your own kits. The Fazley DDK-080 can also be expanded with an extra tom and crash.
A disadvantage compared to the DDK-040 is the kick pad, which is a trigger pedal on the DDK-080. Fortunately, kick pads are also available separately and the kit is also available as Fazley DDK-120, which does have a real kick drum.
Alesis Turbo Mesh Kit
The Alesis Turbo Mesh Kit (predecessor of the Alesis Nitro Max) is an affordable electronic drum kit for beginners from the brand Alesis. This kit can be set up in no time, so you can start jamming straight away!
The Alesis Turbo Mesh Kit also has mesh heads, so you will be less of a nuisance to the environment. The snare and toms are slightly larger than the Fazley DDK-040, so to... learn to play drums this kit is slightly more suitable.
The module is simply designed and has the basic functions for the novice drummer: a metronome, sufficient sounds, recording function and an AUX connection so you can play along with your favorite music.
Roland VAD103
The Roland VAD103 is an attractive entry-level model for drummers who want to benefit from the possibilities that Roland's well-known V-Drums have to offer. The VAD series, short for V-Drums Acoustic Design, are designed in such a way that they not only sound good but also look sleek.
The kit is compact in size and has a minimal setup with 2 toms and 3 cymbals. You do have a real hi-hat pedal, which plays much more realistically than kits like the Roland TD-07DMK. In addition, the module has integrated Bluetooth, so playing along with your favorite music is extra easy!
The included TD-07 module is an intuitively operated drum module with 25 preset kits, 25 custom kits and 143 sounds so that you as a drummer can experiment endlessly with the right sound.
Roland TD-17KVX2
If you want to get a truly professional electronic drum kit, then the Roland TD-17KVX2 a choice you won't regret. Roland has been known for years as one of the best electronic drum brands, if not the best.
The TD-17KVX2 has a stylish design and has the features that are indispensable as an experienced drummer: a real kick pedal, real hi-hat pedal, a realistically sized snare (12″) and a sturdy and stable rack.
The advanced module has a number of challenging coaching functions such as Time Check and Quiet Count. With 70 preset kits and a total of 310 sounds, you will be able to create a suitable sound for every genre.
Roland TD-07KV
Another electronic drum kit from the Roland brand is the Roland TD-07KV. This kit is more affordable than the aforementioned kits from Roland and offers the ideal solution for drummers of all levels.
The double-layer mesh heads provide an authentic and realistic feel while playing. The TD-07KV also has Bluetooth so you can easily connect your phone without using an extra cable.
For drummers who are not looking for a budget model, but also do not want to pay too much for their kit, the Roland TD-07KV is the perfect option. If you still want to get a better deal, take a look at the Roland TD-07DMK. This kit has slightly smaller cymbals and also a different kick drum, but otherwise it is the same.
Yamaha DD-75 Mobile Drum
A product that may not quite fit the list, but is a nice gadget for drummers is the Yamaha DD-75 Mobile Drum. The name says it all: you can take this mobile drum kit anywhere!
You simply place the Yamaha DD-75 on the table or mount it on a snare stand, and you're ready to go! The kit even comes with two pedal connections so that kick and hi-hat can also be played. You can also connect your phone via AUX and play along with your favorite music via YouTube or Spotify.
The Yamaha DD-75 Mobile Electronic Drum Kit is a convenient and portable solution for drummers who don't have room for a full drum kit in their home, apartment or other space. Moreover, the kit can even be used with batteries.
