Simmons Titan 50 E-Drum Kit
The Simmons Titan 50 is an electronic drum kit that is in terms of specifications and price between the Titan 20 and Titan 70. This drum kit is suitable for beginning drummers who are looking for a quality kit but do not want to spend too much money.
10" Mesh snare and 8" Mesh toms
What sets the Simmons Titan 50 apart is its full-fledged 10-inch snare. 8 inches is relatively small for a snare, which is why Simmons opted for a larger snare. Alesis did the same with the Nitro Max and Millennium with the MPS-450.
Both the snare and toms are mesh heads, which provides a more realistic playing experience and is also quieter for the environment.
Sturdy and stable rack
Many drummers like to play powerfully, and it's a shame if you have to hold back with an electronic drum kit. With the Simmons Titan 50, you don't have to; the rack is built so solidly that it won't break easily.
Another handy feature is the smartphone holder on top of the module, which allows you to take drum lessons and play along at the same time.
Bluetooth and app connection
Extra special about the Simmons kits is the possibility to connect the kit to the app specially developed by Simmons. This gives you the possibility to create your own sound and start interactive exercises with which you develop super fast.
Differences between Simmons kits
Simmons offers 4 basic kits, 3 of which are in the Titan series (Titan 20, 50 and 70). The Titan 50 is also available as an extended version with an extra tom and crash.
The SD1250 is Simmons' flagship, which distinguishes itself with larger cymbals and a full-fledged 12″ snare mounted on a snare stand.
