The Simmons SD1250 is the flagship of the American Simmons. This electronic drum kit offers everything the professional drummer needs, including cymbals, a snare and toms of realistic size.

12″ Snare pad mounted on stand

Unique to the Simmons SD1250 is that this kit has a 12″ snare pad mounted on a separate snare stand, something we often see with higher price point brands such as Efnote or the high-end kits from Roland.

The advantage of a snare drum on a stand is that your kit is much more stable and sturdy. It also means the rack moves less while playing.

4 Cymbal pads with 14″ Ride cymbal

Most electronic drum sets come standard with 3 cymbals (hihat, crash, ride). The Simmons SD1250 comes with 4 cymbals, giving you 2 crashes.

The cymbals are large in size and respond exactly as real cymbals would. The ride cymbal is a whopping 14 inches and has 3 zones, which makes playing very realistic.

The powerful module of the Simmons SD1250 is equipped with no less than 750 unique sounds. This means you will never be short of anything and the kit fits into any genre.

All Simmons kits, including this one, have the ability to connect to the Simmons specially developed app. This gives you the ability to create your own sound and start interactive exercises that will help you develop super fast.

Differences between Simmons kits

Simmons offers 4 basic kits, 3 of which are in the Titan series (Titan 20, 50 and 70). The Titan 50 is also available as an extended version with an extra tom and crash.
