In October 2024, Thomann's own brand launched a new electronic drum kit: the Millennium MPS-1000 Monitor SetThe MPS-1000 Monitor Set has the same features as the other versions of the MPS-1000, but there is one important difference that sets Millenium apart from other brands.
Built-in Monitor (in Bassdrum)
Unique to the Millenium MPS-1000 Monitor Set is that it has a built-in monitor in the bass drum, which ensures that you as a drummer can now easily switch between sound for yourself or sound for a stage or in a rehearsal space. An innovative invention that we have not seen before in electronic drum sets.
Who is the Millenium MPS-1000 Monitor Set suitable for?
Some drummers use their electronic drum kit for silent practice, other drummers use their kit for live performances. The Monitor Set is mainly suited for the second group. In situations where loud sound from an acoustic drum kit is not desirable, such as at a wedding or in a church, a kit like this is perfect.
Another advantage is not having to transport a monitor; because the monitor is integrated into the drum kit, you don't have to take the monitor to the performance location.
New design: Silver Sparkle
In addition to the three existing designs (Natural, Plain White and Grey) the Millenium MPS-1000 Monitor Set will be delivered in a new design: Silver Sparkle. Whether the regular models will also be available in this design is not yet known.
