The Yamaha DTX6K2-X is a complete electronic drum kit that is equipped with an advanced sound module and realistic-feeling drum pads.

Snare with TCS surface

With more than 400 sounds and 30 preset kits, this is a drum kit that allows you to easily take your drumming skills to the next level without bothering those around you.

The snare drum of this kit features the unique Textured Cellular Silicone (TCS) surface. This is a foamed silicone material containing thousands of air bubbles, which is extra quiet and feels very realistic.

Advanced high quality kit

The Yamaha DTX6K2-X comes with the basic elements you need as a drummer: a 13" hi-hat (with pedal), 2 x 13" crash and 13" ride from the PCY series. The kit includes mesh head toms and the sturdy KP90 kick pad.

The Yamaha DTX6K2-X is recommended to drummers who are looking for an advanced and high-quality electronic drum kit, but do not want to pay the top price.

Differences KX, K2-X and K3-X

There are a number of differences between the 3 different kits in the DTX6 series:

The DTX6K-X contains 3 cymbal pads, which saves space but limits playing freedom. In addition, the kit contains a smaller kick drum and no hi-hat pedal.

The DTX6K2-X contains 4 cymbal pads from the PCY series, which play more realistically than standard cymbal pads. The kick drum is also an upgrade compared to the KX.

The DTX6K3-X comes with PCY cymbals, a better kick drum and all toms with Textured Cellular Silicone surface.

All three models contain the same DTX-PRO module and have a snare drum with Textured Cellular Silicone surface.
