Alesis Nitro Pro E-Drum Kit

The Alesis Nitro Pro could be a big brother of the Alesis Nitro Max , but at the same time it also has some resemblance to the Alesis Command Mesh SE .

One thing is for sure: This brand new kit from Alesis is a stylish and sturdy electronic drum kit with Bluetooth for the (semi-)advanced drummer, unlike the Nitro Max, which positioned itself as an entry-level model.

10″ Mesh Head Snare Drum and Larger Kick Pad

What immediately stands out with the Alesis Nitro Pro is the 10″ mesh head snare drum with a deep shell, which gives the kit a more acoustic look. The red accents match the color of the module and give the kit a smooth and professional look.

The toms and kick pad have also been upgraded, as we already knew from the Command Mesh SE . These are also tunable, allowing you to adjust the responsiveness to your own preference.

Just like we wrote in the Alesis Nitro Max review , we recommended mounting the snare on a snare stand to make the kit feel more stable and less wobble. This kit allows for that as well.

In addition to the snare, toms and the rack, the kick has also been improved. The Alesis Nitro Max supported double bass, but the surface was actually just too small. With the Nitro Pro this is a thing of the past and the surface is large enough for a double bass pedal .

Sturdy Steel Rack

One of the downsides of the Alesis Nitro Max was that the kit wobbles while playing. Thanks to the steel rack of the Alesis Nitro Pro, this problem is solved, making the kit just as stable as kits from Roland, for example.

Also good news for the taller players among us: the kit can be adjusted higher, making it playable for everyone.
